Fotomoto is a print-on-demand e-commerce system that enables you to sell your artwork on a variety of print types, directly from your own website. Fotomoto does all the hard work for you – printing, packaging, and shipping – and integrates quickly and easily with The Turning Gate's CE3 series gallery plugins for Lightroom.
Customers may shop the image galleries on your site, with Fotomoto's e-commerce widget transforming your existing website into a fully functional e-commerce boutique, allowing you to keep your hard-earned web traffic by keeping the shopping experience local, so your visitors are never redirected away from your site.

Within Lightroom, in the Output Settings control pane, locate the E-Commerce Options control group:
By default, e-commerce features are disabled. To get started with Fotomoto, choose Fotomoto from the list of E-Commerce Mode options:
The control set will change, allowing you to setup Fotomoto support:
At this point, you will want to login to your account with Fotomoto.com.
Go to the Settings section of your dashboard:
On the Settings page, you will need to do several things.
First, copy the Store ID and paste it into Lightroom:
Next, move down to Publish Settings and set as shown below:
You may see a message reading “Add your site key (a.k.a Store ID) to your TTG HighSlide Gallery Pro settings”, which refers to an outdated plugin. Don't worry about it; it's not important.
Finally, scroll down to the Site Addresses section of the Settings page. Make sure to list all domains and subdomains on which you will be using Fotomoto-integrated galleries. For your main domain(s), it's a good idea to make sure you list the domain both with and without the 'www' part of the address, as shown in the image below for my personal domains:
And that's all for basic setup. Your galleries are not ready to rock with Fotomoto, and you may begin selling images!
Fotomoto's e-commerce widget is designed with the desktop interface in mind. It is not designed for use on touch-screens, and is not sized for use on mobile phone displays. For these reasons, Fotomoto features are not available in CE3 mobile galleries.
The gallery setup includes an option “Check-in images on page load”.
When enabled, the gallery will “check in” all images with Fotomoto on page load, updating your Fotomoto account with all gallery images at once. Without it, Fotomoto is only updated with images as each image's purchase button is pressed and the Fotomoto widget is launched for that image.
Image check-in is advantageous when you wish to organize newly added images within your Fotomoto dashboard, such as when setting pricing or organizing images into collections. However, having the feature enabled on very large galleries can cause the page to be stuck in “loading” status for a very long time.
So for users who need to manage photos within their Fotomoto accounts – to assign different pricing, organize into collections, etc. – we recommend enabling the check-in for first publishing of a new gallery, loading the gallery in your browser, verifying that images have been checked in with your Fotomoto account (they may not all appear immediately; give it a little while if not all show up), then disabling the check-in thereafter so that visitors don't suffer the infinite loading issue which can occur for large galleries.
This is made much easier for TTG CE3 Publisher users. Such users may create two nearly identical templates – one with Fotomoto check-in enabled, and the other with it disabled – then switch the gallery from using one template to the other as needed.
Users who do not need to manage images within the Fotomoto dashboard are advised to leave the check-in feature disabled.
